Sexual Position and Conception
There are varieties of sexual positions in accordance with the requirement of mental and physical satisfaction of partners engaged in sexual intercourse. Varieties are like man on top or missionary position, woman on top, sitting, standing, side-by-side, rear entry or doggy style and what not. At the first look all the positions are basically designed or evolved to cater the need of sexual pleasure of people. But sex is not only to serve the need of physical and psychological ecstasy but, just like other animals it has the most basic purpose to be served that is creating new generation.
As far as pleasure is concerned one can choose any position that comforts him/her. But here, we have to think of the best sexual position or positions, if possible, which may help human beings for conception. There are dispute among scientific resolutions about the relationship between sexual position and conception. Some do believe that there is no position that can help people in this matter and thus any position that people do find comfortable can help them to conceive. On the contrary we have the second thought as the position like man on top is the best one for conception. Other positions are not avoidable but not too much acceptable as far as the matter is related to getting baby.
The scientific reason, as is developed, behind the success of man on top position is that in this case sperm has the support of gravitational force to run through the cervix. In other cases sperms are suppose to use their own capability to travel to the egg. However, in man on top position one may take the support of a small pillow under the female partner’s hips. That helps sperms to rest in cervix for a short period of time, which is again helpful to sperms to swim up through the cervix. If you still fail to conceive even after one year of unprotected sex better you meet your doctor or you may seek help in the other forms of treatment prepared to face such problems.
